Jesus said that the world would know us as Christians because of the love we have for each other. But, anyone who has worked in church life very long knows that Christians can act in ways that are lacking in love.
A lady who sang in the church choir, and usually got home late on Wednesday evenings, came home early one Wednesday night. Her husband asked, “Honey, why are you home so early from choir practice?
The wife said, as she took off her coat, “Well, the music director and pianist got into an argument about how we should sing, ‘Love Lifted Me,’ so we cancelled the choir practice for this week!”
