Introduction

Israel's great kingdom was under King David. King David's throne will be and was where Solomon's Temple is today. But there is a Muslim Mosque there now. There is a fault under it now and the earthquake surrounding the coming of Jesus Christ will nock it down quickly and it will be rebuilt. From there we will see King Jesus, the Messiah, reigning on this earth for a millennium, a thousand years, of peace. The one common denominator in the message of everyone of the sixteen major and minor prophets is that when Jesus Christ came, He would reign and there will be peach on earth. Not willing peace, but forced peace. No rebellion will be allowed. No sin will be tolerated. No lawlessness will be able to exist. He will reign for these thousand years of kingdom peace. At the end of this time eternity will begin. This is the first phase of eternity. Luke 1:31-33 Look at 2 Thessalonians 2:4 (Anti-Christ)

One of the major signs, just before He returns from heaven to set up His kingdom on earth is there will be wars and rumors of wars. The real issue is the issue between God and the devil. Christ and the anti Christ in Jerusalem over the throne of David. Isaiah 14:12-14 Looks into eternity past. Key verse is 13. (You said in your heart.) All the things he said were a perversion and contradiction of what had been said before that time in the Bible about Jesus Christ. Lucifer attacked Jesus at his word. Genesis 3:1 The serpent did not come to the woman and say God did not say God's a lier. He came and raised the doubt. In every junction of history you will find a confrontation between the authority of the King, Jesus Christ, who speaks His word and the devil who is saying that my word is right. Exodus 5:1-2 The issue is what God says; the authority of God's word. The real battle is being fought with many systems and many actors playing it out. It's always over the issue of the word of God and it's binding nature in our lives, and confrontation, and conflict with Satan's word who denies it, rejects it and says no. Why was Jesus Christ crucified on the cross, for just one reason, because he claimed to be God?

Understand that Israel, Jerusalem, the battle for the throne is Satan's last stand. An overview of how it's going to be. All nations will be drawn to Israel and come against Jerusalem. We are not going to go through the tribulation. In the result of confusion, during the tribulation, someone will step forward and will have all the answers. He'll be the anti Christ. He will be a religious leader and a world-class political leader. He'll make a false peace with Israel. Jesus and all the Saints and holy angels will come from heaven and converge on him. This will be the battle of Armageddon. What will cause all of the armies of the world to turn on Israel? Revelation 19:11-15 Jesus Christ will come and will reign on His throne. You can't change prophecy. So what about my life?

I. Know Your Bible

You cannot win or defeat the devil unless you know the scriptures. You can't survive.

II. Clean Up Your Act

In 3 John 3:1-3, we see a description of Jesus coming in an awesome way. There is no greater motivation to our own personal holiness and cleanness than the fact that we want to be pure and prepared when we see Him face to face.

III. Cling To Your Hope

Things will get worse in this world before we are called up. We are safe and secure until God says so. Boldly go into the future trusting Jesus Christ, honoring and serving Him. He is the blessed hope. The coming of Jesus Christ is the hope of the entire world, it is the central event for which all of history is moving, and without which any of history makes any sense. It's all about the coming of Christ.

IV. Unite Your Hearts

You should not do anything to offend one brother, causing them hurt or harm in their spiritual life. It is always the position of the mature believer to take whatever issues may be causing division and retarding spiritual growth in the church to say that I have the right to believe this, I have the right to say this. But for the sake of the progress of the other believers, I will keep it to myself. It is time in the church to understand we are not talking about great moral issues, or doctrinal theological weighting matters. We are talking about personal opinion, taste, and desire.

V. Win Your World

Go back to what Jesus Christ preached and taught us to pray for the church. To witness, to clean or get dirty, and the let the unity of the church be the validating authority to be the personal witness. Give that witness - Would you promise God in this 2002 year to attempt in some manner to share your faith in Jesus Christ with somebody everyday? Be the heart of every solution. Drop everything that is secondary nature of importance and let this be the most powerful and strong church. That will validate the authenticity and the force and power of the witness you give.
